Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about SKTFC. If you have question that is not listed here, email CoachPhil@sktfc.org and it just might get posted here so that others may also be informed.

How do I join the club?
We have an online registration page that appears on the menu bar when signups for the club are open. We typically have 1 or 2 Saturdays in March for in-person signups, see calendar for more info.

How much does it cost?
2017 Cost:  $60 first athlete
                    $100 two athletes (same family)
                    $130 three athletes (same family)
                    $160 four or more (same family)

What equipment do I need to have to participate?
For beginners and younger kids, just a good pair of running shoes & comfortable clothes for running, throwing & jumping.

Do you practice when it rains?
Yes, rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, then no.

Why am I being asked to volunteer at meets?
It takes “a village” to run a meet. We need parent officials to run field events (long jump, high jump, shot put, discus, javelin/softball throw), move hurdles, register visiting athletes, hand out athlete numbers, set up for the meet, put equipment away after the meet.

But I don’t know anything about being an event official, now what?
That’s OK Coach Phil will conduct training during one or two practices prior to the first meet. Plus on meet day he circulates around the track to answer any last minute questions.

When I pre-register (sign up for events) by email, who do I send it to?
Send the same info that is on the quarter sheet for your age division to
ldrunner@sktfc.org  by 6pm the Friday prior to the meet.

What happens if I don’t pre-register? Can I still compete?
Yes you can still compete in the meet. If you miss pre-registering you will need to pay the same day fee of $10.

I registered my child online but I forgot to run off the Medical Consent & Authorization form, how do I get one?
